Upon graduation, she began her recruiting career in 1997 on Wall Street, NYC, with Robert Half International. By 2004, Christina obtained her Masters Degree in Education where she put forth this knowledge towards designing and implementing management and employee training programs that focus on a variety of topics. · Successfully unites with management and external clients to identity corporate staffing objectives while adhering to the client’s budget, designs and trains management and supervisors on employee retention techniques, conducts hiring and firing practices, educates management on competitive market salary awareness, and more.

Marlene Pascual, CPA - marlene@martins-ig.comThroughout her career in recruiting and in both public and private accounting, Marlene has always been very customer service oriented; always seeking out the best solution for her clients. She prides herself on putting her client’s needs first and then working towards fulfilling those needs through pinpoint recruiting and providing superior around the clock service to the organizations she works with. Because of this unique approach, she has been very successful at establishing and maintaining long term relationships with all of her client organizations.
She graduated with a degree in Accounting from Cal State Northridge and then immediately began pursuing her CPA license by joining a local CPA firm in Glendale, CA. After three years with the firm and her CPA license in hand, she began her own CPA practice which flourished quickly. Her proudest accomplishment during this time was that she hired, trained, and assisted four other accounting professionals in obtaining their CPA licenses.
After building up and selling a successful public accounting practice, Marlene joined a well known shoe distributor in Palos Verdes, Ca as their Controller. She worked successfully in that environment for several years, and then decided to put her strong accounting background, coupled with her customer service orientation, and ability to hire, motivate, and mentor others, to use in the recruiting industry. She began her decade long recruiting career with Robert Half International, recruiting accounting professionals for some of the largest and most well known organizations in Southern California.
Possessing a strong entrepreneurial spirit and extensive experience building up and running successful businesses, Marlene founded her own recruitment firm in 2003, Pascual and Associates. In 2006, Pascual and Associates merged with The Martins Investment Group and today the firm is proud to offer a wide variety of recruitment services across all industries.
Michael Shenouda - mike@martins-ig.comMichael, a University of California Irvine graduate in Business Administration has a strong background in both public and private industries. Upon graduation, he spent five years as an Auditor/ Accountant with a CPA firm and with an outside Consulting firm servicing Fortune 500 clients. This enabled Mike to establish and build a solid knowledge base in the areas of business.
After spending five years in an Audit/Accounting capacity he transitioned into an Executive Recruiter role where he spent the last seven years helping to build a company from the ground up. With a list of loyal clients ranging from large corporations to small innovators, he and his team consistently deliver quality candidates for critical hires.
